Just found this site. Will be going through another round of RAI 2 year in a row. Total thyroidectomy Aug 2019. Cancerous lymph nodes confirmed last week. Neck Dissection scheduled for September 2020. I struggled with the LID diet last time. This time i know what to expect and I want to meal prep and be prepared so its not so much like a chore. Last time was overwhelming. Thank you for this!! Sending love and light to you.

Thank you! So sorry you are going through this again. LID was overwhelming for me the first time I did it too. It gets easier. A couple of years ago, I discovered http://www.lidlifecommunity.org and it was a game changer. Finding out so many products were LID-safe was so helpful. The last time I did LID, I didn’t have time to plan and was so busy with work, kids, and life, that I ended up making the same meals over and over. That’s okay, it’s only for a short period of time. Planning and meal-prepping will make the diet easier for you. Best of luck to you! I hope your neck dissection goes smooth and you are finally thyca free! ❤
